Dia:Beacon
On Saturday we went on a day trip to a small town in upstate New York called Beacon. The purpose of our visit was to check out the large contemporary art museum housed there, Dia:Beacon.
Unfortunately photography is not allowed inside so the only shot I have is of the museum exterior.
Regardless, the museum was fantastic and I have never seen art (of any kind) displayed at such scale. The rooms are enormous and the whole museum spans an area of 300,000 square feet. I would highly recommend it as a day trip for anyone visiting NY.
