Fat Cats
Last Sunday evening Alice and I came across this games room at the end of our street. Upon entering you descend into a cavernous basement, filled with with pool and ping-pong tables. Above the sound of the games you can hear a live jazz band playing in the corner.
The band was actually really good; they were being filmed by a crew from the BBC for a documentary on underground music in NYC.
