Poson Poya
We were lucky enough to be around for this Poya day (a Poya day is a full moon day) as Poson Poya is when they celebrate the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka. One of the key aspects is that communities give stuff away for free – from rice & curry to ice cream. We got some lemonade.
